Mon, Jan 18, 2010 14:30: PRIVATE GROUND SCHOOLS START SPRING QUARTER - (OPEN TO GENERAL PUBLIC TOO)Boeing Employees Flying Association in conjunction with
Renton Technical College will be holding two 60 hour Aviation Ground Schools this Spring Quarter at the BEFA Renton facility classroom. The two
Private Pilot Aviation Ground School classes are offered April 6th through June, 2010. The first class will fit Second Shift employees and is from 10:30 AM
to 1:30 PM Tuesday and Thursday.
The second, regular evening class, is from 4:45 PM to 7:45 PM, Tuesday and Thursday nights. 17 student maximum per class, so sign up

Thu, Jul 23, 2009 0:05: BEFA Aircraft Support Boeing Flight OpsBoeing Phantom Works and BEFA have concluded a "Bailing Agreement" whereby they will be using Cirrus N662AJ approximately 100 flight hours for a test program. The program principals will work around the BEFA schedules as much as possible to minimize scheduling impact to the Association pilots. The tentative schedule is for the program to conclude in late December.

Thu, Jul 23, 2009 0:09: Boeing Community Relations/Challenge Air programBEFA and CFI Dayne Olmstead using N5344K provided requested support for the Boeing Community Relations/Challenge Air program. This commitment was also being filmed and Dayne interviewed by Boeing reporter Bernard Choi for an informational video, internal initially to the Boeing Company, and perhaps to the media at large. We hope to have a link posted soon when the production is completed, for viewing.
