General BEFA Activities Information
Annual meeting and Crab Feed
Every year during the first quarter of the year, BEFA holds its annual
meeting. The meeting is begun with a crab feed (chicken also) for a very
nominal charge. When everyone is too full to move, the officers give reports
on the current state of the association and what the plans for the coming year
are, and take questions from the general membership. The Member of the
Year is announced.
Bath and Barbecue
This event gets the
association members together to spruce up the association's facility
and to wash all the airplanes. It's a lot of work, but the reward is
that the association sponsors a barbecue at the hangar in the evening for those
members who have pitched in and their families.
The Bath and Barbecue is a
really good way to get to know your fellow association members.
